Truly enjoyed this famous and absolutely fantastic hotel, easy to find, with ACCOMMODATING staff at check-out. I've been here for 2 nights, the breakfast was lovely and very very good with ham, spectacular views of the Alps plus juices. The atmosphere created was quiet.
Ordered breakfast, it was cold, it should definitely be improved, really.

Loved the jazz theme throughout the hotel. It created a vibrant atmosphere. The spacious Jazz Junior Suite offered fine views over Bern. Enjoyed the cozy restaurant with a diverse menu, and the complimentary public transport pass made getting around easy. The hotel seemed a bit dated in some areas, and there could have been better communication regarding the door code change . Minor improvements could enhance the experience.

gorgeous views, complimentary public transport pass, unique jazz atmosphere
The hotel needs to address significant noise disturbances from outside events!!! Communication regarding changes in entry codes must be improved. Being locked out is not acceptable!!! Please update the room facilities for a fresher feel!!!

The location on a hill outsode of Bern was pleasant and there was a bus ready to take you into town with not much trouble. It was quiet.
The staff did not seem well trained - we asked for a bar of soap the maid forgot, and we were met with a "scoff" at the front desk. We asked for extra pillows which never arrived. Often the front desk was totally unmanned, which was a problem to get a cab, directions, change etc. They seemed more vested in running their jazz club than attending to guests.

Staying here with friends was fantastic! We enjoyed relaxing walks in the forest, and the hotel's location was perfect for easy access to the Aare River for a refreshing swim. The restaurant's food was really good, with views of the mountains. Plus, the staff were nice and attentive throughout our stay.
The air conditioning in our room struggled to keep up with the warm temperatures, making it a bit uncomfortable at times.

The hotel offers a good jazz-themed atmosphere with engaging cultural events that enhance the overall experience.
The absence of a handicap parking spot in front of the hotel was inconvenient and seemed like an oversight for such a unique venue.
